The tedious field of i18n can be a real nervewracker, especially the translation of menu items and taxonomy terms.
This module helps for some of those tasks and presents a nice UI. Moreover it not only helps with the translation of taxo terms and menu items but also allows the easy translation of content type descriptions.
That said it is necessary to say that this module only works properly if you have your i18n homeworks done and doesn't provide additional translation opportunities.
This module simply eases the tasks you are facing and this is good enough for me to use it.
