The best solution for automatic thumbnail handling with wysiwyg editors

Thank you for the great module - it is a huge improvement for automatic thumbnail handling using a wysiwyg editor. The usage is not very easy but if you got it the combination of Teaser Thumbnail, ImageCache and Views works very well and is very usefull.

Thumbs may easily be done with CCK + Views + Imagecache

I've tried using the module for Drupal5, but in vain. Conflicts with the existing Excerpt module, or something else - I don't know. Then I've simply added an image CCK field and chose the option to display it as an imagecache thumb.

As an added bonus I was able to make the thumbnails rounded, using the imagecache_actions module.

Works pretty well

This module creates a thumbnail for your teaser by picking the first image on your node's content (doesn't matter how the image got there). Makes this careless and kills the only reason I still used the image module on some sites.

I use IMCE with TinyMCE under WYSIWYG-API, and this module does what it is supposed to do pretty well. I am not sure if the "easy of use" can be improved, but to get it working you have to create your own thumbnail_size using Image_cache's UI, then link setup your Teaser_Thumbnail settings to select that created thumbnail, and then activate it in each Content Type. This module's setting workflow is fine, because it uses other modules, but maybe it could be something a bit more direct. Anyways, that is just the one thing it needs to be perfect in my eyes. Thanks for an excellent module.
