Awsome! Saved me so much time!
I had a list of topics(Taxonomy) only about 220 lines worth but would have been a pain to manually enter. This module took the title list exported as a CSV from an Excel spreadsheet and BAM. I was done. Only unfortunate thing about it is that it doesn't automatically keep the order of the CSV (goes alphabetical). And documentation is little lacking for my tastes but doesn't overshadow the sheer power and simplicity of the module. Awesome Job!

Does what it says and does it well
This worked like a charm. I spent a little time trying to figure out how to import terms in a hierarchy (could have been documented a little better), but otherwise, it worked very well. Saved me some time.
(Hint: If you need to import terms and sub-terms, format your file this way:
term
term,sub-term
term,sub-term,sub-sub-term
term,sub-term,
term,sub-term,sub-sub-term
term,sub-term,sub-sub-term
term
.......etc.

Works as advertised
With Drupal 6.2, I used Taxonomy CSV Import to pull in >1k terms and definitions to a single vocabulary. Because I didn't create the CSV file correctly the first time, it took a couple of passes.
The author's advice to backup before import is very important. (Isn't it always?)
But, as I said, the module does what it says and saved me a lot of time.
