Simple and great solution for best-practice navigation

Perfect!

Wanted: Module to write a list of child nodes into a page without having to 'double define' a page (once in menus and once more in taxonomy). It's very good practice to list all the sub pages of a navigational section into a menu on the page as well as in left or right hand nav. This is an example of what I am talking about (done manually) http://www.halcyon.ac.uk/?q=work-package...

I'd been trying to solve this one automatically for a while and always ended up reverting to putting a manual list, but this module makes it automatic - hooray! This was also a major stumbling block for clients updating their own sites too, now solved.

Documentation marked down due to not having a screen shot or two that show what is otherwise explained - us designers are better with pictures :-)

Submenu Tree saved my project!

This module is simple to install and did exactly as the useful description of the module said it would do.

Here are a few firsts. This is my first module review of a most useful module for my first website Xpress Vote. The aim was to build a website where topics of interest are posted and visitors can comment and vote on the topics.

Well, the Body field of the Poll module in Drupal 6 doesn't work which is an essential field to write the topic content. Other work arounds require programming knowledge that I don't have.

An extensive search of Drupal Modules website found Submenu Tree. After installation and reading the module description and available documentation a few times I was able to have the Poll node appear as part of a Page node. Fantastic; problem solved. I use the Title and Body text of the Page Node and the voting component of the Poll node to appear as one seamless node. And remember, I'm not a programmer.

A range of easy to use configuration options allowed me to change the Poll node from appearing below the Page node to appearing beside the Page node in a block.

I see a range of uses for this module in the future.
