Just the answer I needed for a new website I was making. Well, the domain is new but the content old. A mix of HTML and PHP files (but no SQL backend) that I wanted to import into drupal. This module provided the answered. I hacked together a PHP client to grab the content from the php/html files and add as a node to drupal. No need to manually copy, paste, etc. Highly recommended. A 4 for reliability as the node added but didn't associate with the term so I had to hack the module to do that. Although that's on the old version.
System module (with XML-RPC prtocol) have ability to be integrated to desktop applications.
