The author of this module has clearly spelled out the risks of using an approach like this to determine your search engine result position (SERP) for given keywords.
I have not used the module, but would like to reiterate that the risk of using such systems is having your site banned from Google (and other SEs). I know, it almost happened to several sites in an SEO oriented company that I used to work for.
Google has a fantastic tool called Webmaster Tools that provides a certain view into SERP data, as well as a huge number of other very useful tools.
