Path Filter takes internal Drupal paths in single or double quotes, written as e.g. "internal:node/99", and replaces them with the appropriate absolute HTTP URL or path using Drupal's url() function. When using a link like "internal:node/1" the resulting page is "http://mysite.com/nl/admin/node/1" when following the link from the admin page and "http://mysite.com/nl/node/node/1" when following the link from "http://mysite.com/nl/node/2". I now use the link_node module which does the job better.
