Quick tool, may even help teach you Drupal

This module provides a list of every hook available in your site (core and non-core hooks), so its perfect if you're learning how to build or integrate with Drupal allowing you to learn any (new) hook. This tool is helpful for sure. It helps by setting up the initial code for your module and lets you fill in the logic. Just the basics are setup, but it's enough to get you started for sure.

Amazing!!!

Note: This module is definitely only for those who are entering the "module building" phase of their drupal education. (as the name of the module suggests). This is not for the casual site administer.
Therefore I will give you a little of my background so you can put a frame of reference on my review. I taught myself php several years ago and coding is purely a hobby (i have no formal training). I consider myself a novice with php and an intermediate drupal user. I have written several custom php blocks which interact with taxonomy and several other custom functions which interact with the database. Up until this point my custom php blocks in combination with views, cck, and panels would satisfy my needs. However a recent project required that I move my code into a custom module. I started looking at tutorials, but most were too time consuming. All I wanted was a simple template that I could plug my custom functions and block code into.

Enter Module Builder:
This module makes building custom module "simple." It allows you to pick a name, enter help text, select what drupal core functions you want to interact with and then give you the code with comments explaining what each function interacts with. It takes all the drudgery out of building a simple module. You can jump straight into the good stuff, without having to deal with the "formalities."

A big thank you to joachim, great module and amazing time saver.

*Note: my rating on ease of use is based on the assumption the person who uses this module has a working knowledge of drupal core and the module building process. This is a "plug and play" module for developers, not for administers.
