Misses the sweet spot
I've looked at this module, tried to make it work for my situation, along with LDAP Data that is included in the ldap_integration module.
It didn't work for me. The user registration process is not necessarily everyone's choice and it's pretty hard to understand how the different pieces work together.
I ended up writing my own, lighter, version of the module, basically complementing every relevant operation of hook_user and relying on the ldap extension of PHP. This work should be available on drupal.org, so Webmaster wants.
