The ability to tie Drupal authentication to our parent institution's user accounts is indispensable to our library. This module makes it easy for our students, staff, and faculty to login. It enables more up-to-date Drupal user profiles by synchronizing with LDAP user data. In addition, through this module we can use Drupal as the authentication framework for other PHP-based open source applications.
