Makes side by side views a breeze
This module makes placing views side by side, or in any configuration on the page, easy.
On our internal Drupal powered wiki we have a "dashboard" as the homepage which lists 4 views on the one page and gives us an overview of any updates made recently.

It's great!
I love this module. When I came up with the concept for the site I wanted to design for the webdesign company I work for, I was afraid it would take a ton of hacking and tweaking to get the three side-by-side views I wanted. Then I found this module and after I created a custom input format, all I had to do was type the view name and it was there. (see http://kosada.com/ to see what I'm describing)
There were a few drawbacks though.
- it disables caching for ALL NODES using whatever input format you use it with
- it took a little work to set up – making a custom input format was new to me but not too hard.
- it took me quite a while to get what was meant by "display name". I named displays within my view things like "software-block" and "web-block" but those weren't the names it wanted. I had to use DOM inspector to figure out the more esoteric names it was looking for.
Once you're over the little hump of a learning curve, this can be really useful, though.

Best addition to Drupal yet
Just downloaded and installed it today and I am in love. It has made the creation of layouts so much easier. And in some ways made the impossibly difficult simple.
I can create any layout I want with divs and just chuck in views with arguments all within the editor. Save the page and view and bam. Done.
Great, great, great!

Very handy
Very handy for easily inserting your views among other content. I never had any problem with it, and it has become one of my standard modules, that go in to most sites I create.
