Awesome Module!!! Simple & yet so powerful

Thank you for this awesome module. I spent many hours dwelling with the Views Gallery module, and being a nice and simple module it has some basic issues; like, user permission to top it all...

What I really liked about this module is its ability to easily be assigned to any node-type (in my case organic groups) and also to integrate it with the profile page.

Still exploring this awesome tool... excited to see what I can do with it.. Really saved me lot of headache and time..

Thank you once again! Keep up the good work!!!!

Collapsed my site

This is a really nice module for drupal, It is what i was looking for it. But lots of errors, bugs. Developer must work on it.

But thanks really this module can go further more.

Sloppy

I hate writing bad reviews of any module, especially one as ambitious as this. Let me start by saying the developer's heart is in the right place--the features list is exactly what's needed in a gallery: intuitive and easy to use. If your goal is to set up a simple set of pages for galleries, this is probably a pretty good start.

On the other hand, the block system is a disaster, as is most of the admin section. There's no excuse for this level of sloppiness in any module--features added to the admin section that are incomplete, counterintuitive, broken. Misspellings Everywhere. The whole thing feels rushed and unfinished. It seems like the developer tried to add 500 features, got 8 of them to work, then released it.

I'll give it a 5 for features--right on there. I guess if you don't use the blocks, it's easy enough to use, so there's a 3 there. The rest of it needs some work, though.

Excellent module

I am a newbie with Drupal.
I was looking for an efficient module to manage photos gallery.
And this one is excellent.
I ve tested a few.
The easier one , I tested was Album photo but the problem is the lack of documentation.
And the translations are not completed , so I was in translation process Chinese spanish LOL.
But I discovered GALLERY ASSIST ; Now I think I ve got the PERFECT MODULE.

The quality Is impressive

Of course you need all the optional module to use it
The possibility to choose your jquery viewer is amazing.

The web site of demonstration is great. And you can see quickly all the possibilities. And directly in a drupal site.

Just one thing the documentation is mainly with videos.
I think It could be better with more text explanation.
(may be I didnt find them).
At the moment I am not able to use all the possibilities that I watched on the video cos I ve to test the options and to google a lot.
2 examples
- you can send zip photos archives but I dont know which zipper module to use
- I dont get properly the way to change jquery 1.2.6 to jquery 1.3 , ( ok this is my lack of knowledge) but normally you just need to download the last jquery min in misc and rename it

Conclusion An Impressive module. Congratulation to the developer(s)
Keep the good job
