disappointed that Role Inheritance module doesn't work (and also breaks the Permissions page) this module makes setting permissions by role and module a sane process!
now you can also filter fields per content type, how cool is that? !!!
This is seriously a life-saver for administrators. No longer do you have to wait for your permissions page to load and JS to sort it self out slowly, you can find everything easily and quickly allowing you to fine-tune permissions with ease. Definite must for drupal sites with many roles and permission controls.
