Many people seem to set up taxonomies and terms only as categories for website division... and then leave them alone.
And a lot of pages use taxonomies on their nodes for descriptive purposes, but only add few general terms.
A reason for this maybe the fact, that the handling of the terms is always a lot of clicks away, so people seem to tend to keep it small and simple to avoid extra work and confusion.

For those who want to use taxonomies for tagging a lot of content with a lot of terms by freetagging or allow users to tag their content themselves, this module is a good usability improvement for admin or staff to edit terms, add synonyms or do whatever the like within two clicks from the node.
