Better Content management
This module provides much needed improvements to Drupal's content management thanks to its superior filters and sorting options. It also helps get round the issue of needing to give users the administer nodes permission in order to manage their content. There are just a couple of little quirks that stop me from giving the module full marks: if a user hasn't got permission to administer nodes then bulk deletion from CMF takes them to a 500 page, despite deleting content; it would be nice if when selecting a filter the corresponding radio button gets automatically selected like for the core content manager.

Much better than drupal's default content management
As bgthomson mentioned, I also have gone through the process of introducing customers to their new drupal setup after adding 30-40 pages. When done later in an intro, the tone of their voice goes from happy to use the product to slightly worried. I'll be using this on all future sites, and will probably recommend to existing customers to start using this module as well.

How about custom view or Views Bulk Operations?
How does this module compare to just making a custom view and/or using Views Bulk Operations?
Different permission scenario for one.

Fills a big gap for content editors
I've been searching for a module like this for a long time, and this is pretty much exactly what I was hoping to find. Bravo to the developers for recognizing a practical need that benefits content editors!
I work in a university where there is typically a lot of static content to display (between dozens and hundreds of pages). Wading through these with the default node administration screen is frankly a chore, even with the filters.
I've demoed Drupal to quite a few content editors and always dread showing them the node administration. You can't search for content, you can't organize it into folders. I've seen people shut down before my eyes when that screen comes up.
However, this module actually provides an *improvement* over a Dreamweaver-based system for them. You can search by the page title, or by a text string in the body. You can filter by a date range.
Now, I can't wait to show them the improved workflow.
I've only just installed it, so I can't comment on reliability, but the developers seem to stay on top of the issues list. I don't know about documentation, but the module is simple to use and I don't think many people will need to help.
