Exactly what I needed

I needed to create three content types that were only viewable to Members with a role, and one page that has a specific access for that role.

I was able to do this in about five minutes. Thank you Drupal! Thank you Content Access!

Very useful & reliable

I've used this module on a number of sites. It is perfect if you want certain content types to be viewable by the public and others only by users. You can create a private site which also has certain information pages that are viewable. It will even allow you to configure permissions on a node by node basis (although I wouldn't use that feature myself). No hiccups. Solid & reliable.

Great module

Excellent, my only complaint is that some of the interface doesn't make sense. When editing a single node, it asks permission for "any" and "own" content type, even though this is just 1 node. Seems to be redundant to me.

I Love this thing

This works like a charm by itself. Just enable and you are ready to go. It hides the link itself on the drupal menus if a user does not have access to a particular item.

Remember to set your Drupal permissions otherwise this module will not work as expected. For example: If a user does not have permissions to view content in Drupal's permissions, then this module will not be able to give them permissions by default!

What I especially like is it's ability to add per node item access privileges which override the default settings for the item.

Keep in mind that this is a grant module and does not actually block users--this will help you in setting up your site.

This is exactly the module I needed.

I needed to restrict access to some of my content types, while leaving others accessible to anonymous users. This module did the trick. Easy to use, it just adds another tab to the content type screen.

Over my expectations: The 'content access' module fixed wierd 'access blocked' issues automatically!

Great module! Installing it solved wierd node_access issues automatically, without doing anything!
