Super module, very useful indeed
I love it. I use it throughout my site. Some examples:
http://www.webel.com.au/project/drancing
http://www.webel.com.au/softeng
http://www.webel.com.au/profile
And it can be used very effectively with newsletters (Simplenews module), after adaptation of the templates to use tables not divs (so can be viewed ok on most email clients):
My only reservation is that in order to display nodes and teasers ok in composites one usually has to do some CSS gymnastics with {display:none} to display sensibly in layouts with node metadata.
I would like to see some Views-like features (or leveraging of Views) to filter out page metadata and adapt display of teasers and body to suit the composite layouts.
Also, more information on extending the layouts would be nice, as well as a formal extension for extending the layouts.

Brilliant Module
An absolute essential if your looking for a complex layout for your front page/ home page! Since the Panels module has stalled and have not been updated for Drupal 6 the Composite Layout module has developed and progressed into becoming a top ten Drupal Module.
The maintainers respond to bug issues and support requests within a few hours! now thats service!

Panels smaller brother
This module is an easy and smooth option to reorganize the display of content. You can either controll the display of a single node or you can create an display which becomes the default display for all of his kind. That makes it easy to display content created by cck in a fashionable way without css coding or such.
Very handy.
I use Panels for bigger displays, especially when I want to get rid of Drupals regions. But to organize the display of single nodes this thing is very valuable.

Destined to be one of the top ten of all time
I just uploaded this module and within 10 minutes had a terrific format for the front page of a website, the layout for which I'd been agonizing over for several days. Panels is and will always remain one of my all time favorite modules, but I can certainly see composite layout displacing it for many drupal users who seek a quick, easy and intuitive means of organizing data on a single page. The documentation is simple, easy to understand. The module worked first time out of the box; the tabs that are generated for the content type one selects to expose to the composite layout module are easy to figure out. This module is testimony to what happens when a simple idea and brilliant coding harmonize synergestically. My hat truly is off to the developer. Thank you.
