The actions module allows the configuration of Drupal actions. A Drupal action is a specially written PHP function whose parameters are configured through the web. This module is awesome, especially when combined with workflow. You can do all sorts of automatic publishing with moderation. It's a bit tricky to get around your first time. Make sure you remember to visit the actions config page before you go attacking workflow.
