Good once figured out
Since their is not a README.txt file included with this module, you will need to figure out how it works. What did I find? Well after activation, the only configurations is when you grant permissions of who can change what. Then when you create/edit a view, instead of selecting table, or full node, you will be able to select "Action View.""
This will show the view with checkboxed next to each node and a box you can choose what fields(including CCK) you want to change, then all you need to do is hit update.

Does what it claims...
Action Views allows actions to be used under views. Confusing to some like myself, but after a while it starts to make sense. I think of it as Views having a very high end capability of pulling from a database and displaying it as requested, so this module gives you power to do things to this content that you just pulled. An example is deleting a group of related nodes.
There isn't documentation or a lot to work with, but once you have Views down and you learn about actions, you shouldn't have any problems. The best feature is that you can add your own actions, such as those of other modules, if you so choose.
